Personal e-Statement Service
To reduce paper consumption and protect the environment, Chong Hing Bank (the “Bank”) is bringing you the convenience of paperless account statements. If you are our Internet Banking or Mobile Banking personal customers1 and have registered a mobile phone number or valid email address with the Bank, you can view your e-Statements3 via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking.
Features of Personal e-Statement Service
- Convenient and Free of Charge
- You can retrieve and download your e-Statements3 (the content of which is the same as the paper statements) up to 7 years2 via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking, anytime and anywhere.
- All Internet Banking or Mobile Banking personal customers with valid email address or mobile phone number registered with the Bank are automatically subscribed for Personal e-Statement Service free of charge without the need of registration.
- If personal e-Statement customers need paper statements, they can apply for it via Internet Banking or by visiting our branches.
- Automatic Alert
- An email or SMS notification will be sent to the registered email address or mobile phone number of personal e-Statement customers when the latest e-Statement is available.
Note(s):

How to view or download your Personal e-Statements
Accept the Terms and Conditions for Personal e-Statement Services
** Customers must confirm the relevant Terms and Conditions before the first-time logon to view the e-Statement.
Step 1: Select from the menu Account > e-Statement.
Step 2: View Terms and Conditions for e-Statement Services (For Personal Customers).
Step 3: Click the <Accept> button to confirm the relevant contents.
Step 4: The system will give priority to send a one-time SMS verification code based on the communication information (“mobile phone number” and “email address”) you have registered with the Bank; if you have not registered a mobile phone number, the system will send you a one-time email verification code.
Step 5: Please enter your one-time verification code and click the <Confirm> button to complete the verification.
View e-Statement
Step 1: Select from the menu Account > e-Statement > View e-Statement.
Step 2: Choose the corresponding account.
Step 3: Select enquiry e-Statement date range; you can use the <Last Year> or <Transaction Date> filters to narrow down your search results.
Step 4: Click the <Preview> button to view the PDF file.
Download e-Statement
Step 1: Click the <Download> button to show a pop-up box.
Step 2: Click the <Confirm> button in the pop-up box to download the e-statement PDF file to the computer storage device; if you want to cancel the download and keep the current page, click the <Cancel> button to close the pop-up box.
Step 3: The e-Statement PDF file has been successfully downloaded to the computer storage device.

**When customer logon for the first time to view the e-statement, you must confirm the Terms and Conditions for services first.
Step 1: Click the <e-Statement> button on the homepage.
Step 2: View Terms and Conditions for e-Statement Services (For Personal Customers).
Step 3: Click the <Accept> button to confirm the relevant content.

Q1. Which types of customers can view their e-Statements via Internet Banking and Mobile Banking?
A1. If you are our Internet Banking or Mobile Banking personal customers (including personal account and joint account which any one authorised signatory may sign singly) and have registered a mobile phone number or valid email address with the Bank, you are automatically subscribed for Personal e-Statement Service free of charge without the need of registration, and you can view your e-Statements(including Consolidated Statements, Current Account Statements and Statement Savings Account Statements) via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking.
Q2. Is there any charge for Personal e-Statement Service?
A2. No, our Personal e-Statement Service is offered to you free of charge.
Q3. Which types of e-Statements are available?
A3. Currently, these Personal e-Statements are available: (1) Consolidated Statements, (2) Current Account Statements, and (3) Savings Account Statements.
Q4. I have registered for Internet Banking and Mobile Banking Service and there are transaction records in my account. Why can’t I view my e-Statement via my Internet Banking or Mobile Banking?
A4: It may be because you do not have a mobile phone number or valid email address registered with the Bank. Please visit any branch of the Bank to update your email address and mobile phone number.
Q5. How many months of the e-Statements I can view via Internet Banking and Mobile Banking?
A5: From the effective date of your Personal e-Statement Service, you could view your e-Statements up to 7 years via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking.
If an account is closed at the request of the customer or the Bank, the final statement of the account will be issued via paper statement only and mailed to you at your last known correspondence address according to the Bank’s record.
Q6. Will I still receive paper statements after the Personal e-Statement Service is launched?
A6: Starting from January 2023, no paper statements will be mailed to personal e-Statement customers. An email or SMS notification will be sent to your registered email address or mobile phone number when your latest e-Statement is available. If personal e-Statement customers need paper statements, they can apply for it online or by visiting any of our branches.
Q7. When will my Personal e-Statement Service take effect?
A7: Once you have become our Internet Banking or Mobile Banking customers (including personal account and joint account which any one authorised signatory may sign singly), and have registered a mobile phone number or valid email address with us, your Personal e-Statement Service will be effective on the next day and your e-Statement will be available on Internet Banking and Mobile Banking in the next statement cycle.
