  • Multi-Currency Savings Account
  • Time Deposit Account

  • Chong Hing Card (ATM Card)
  • Consolidated Statement (e-Statement)
  • Investment Account (Optional)

 

Eligibility:

  • New-to-bank customer
  • Aged 18 or above
  • Holder of valid Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card/Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID) (Support smart HKID introduced from 2003 and 2018) or Mainland Chinese Resident Identity Card (PRCID)
  • Non-U.S. tax resident
  • To open an account with the PRCID, customer must be in Hong Kong and should visit the selected branch in person to complete the identity verification after submitting your application

 

Preparation before Opening an Account:

  • HKID or PRCID. Holder of Hong Kong Non-Permanent Identity Card or a PRCID will also need to provide travel documents (e.g. passport or valid Exit/Entry Permit for Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macau).
  • Valid mobile phone number (only for phone numbers in Hong Kong or the Mainland) and e-mail address
  • Address proof (only applicable to Investment Account opening)
  • Download the Chong Hing Mobile Banking App

  2. Input personal information and perform identity verification
  3. Input account opening application details
  4. Set passwords for the Internet Banking and the ATM Card
  5. Confirm details of account opening and submit the application
  6. After submitting your application, you can choose whether to proceed with application for investment account opening
