Be cautious of fraudulent messages
Chong Hing Bank Limited (the “Bank”) reminds customers that the Bank will not send SMS with embedded hyperlinks which direct customers to the Bank’s website or mobile app for transactions. The Bank will not ask customers for any sensitive personal information (including login passwords and one-time passwords) through hyperlinks and messages via instant messaging applications. In any case, regardless of whether the SMS sender ID starts with prefix"#", customers must carefully verify the identity of the sender. Please do not click on suspicious hyperlinks, and do not casually disclose any personal/Internet banking information or make money transfers to avoid any losses.
If customers suspect that any sensitive personal information has been disclosed to suspicious third parties, please call our General Banking Customer Services Hotline at (852) 3768 6888 (Mon - Fri: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Sat: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm) or 24-hour Credit Card Services Hotline (852) 3768 8888 and Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) of the Hong Kong Police (852) 18222 immediately.
