Notice for Enhanced Measures on Real-Time Fund Transfers
Chong Hing Bank Limited (“the Bank”) is committed to providing our customers with better services.
In order to reduce the risk of mis-transfer of funds, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority requests banks to conduct mandatory name matching process for real-time fund transfer payment. If the payee name is not correct, the said payment may be rejected. We would like to remind customer that once the payment is confirmed, it could not be cancelled. Therefore, customer should ensure that all information including the payee name matches with the record of the payee bank before making the payment. Details of enhanced measures and the new arrangements from the Bank are listed in the following table for your necessary arrangement:
